Description:

Upper Eastside neighborhood center which specializes in infant care for 40 years. Caring ,educating and nurturing infants and toddlers in an intimate setting. Teacher-directed position with autonomy given for lesson planning and activities. Highly motivated team-player wanted for full time program providing quality infant care for working parents. Very rewarding position watching infants flourish and learn in our warm, cozy environment. The ability to stimulate and nurture infants can be a challenging career.

Responsibilities:

prepare weekly lesson plans
plan and implement classroom activities
coordinate & organize activities according to age-appropriate and developmental abilities
evaluate children's growth & development/prepare progress reports
preparation of meals & bottles
diaper children at regular intervals
prepare individual daily activity sheets

Qualifications:

AA or AS degree in early childhood education or CDA certificate
experience in infant/toddler childcare setting
