Description:

This is a home base Day Care located in Cypress Hills East New York. Our goal is to allow the children to explore their environment while learning to manipulate objects, develop communication skills and etiquette. In order to maintain the assistant teacher's position at the day care, you will be responsible for obtaining thirty hours of training every two years of your employment, as per the Health Department. The work schedule per week is as follows 8:30 am - 5:30 pm and 9:00 am - 6:00 pm for a total of 40 hours.

Responsibilities:

To care for children between the ages of six weeks to twelve years in a nurturing environment. Assisting with meals, hygiene, lesson plans, home work and maintaining a clean and safe environment. You must have a love for nature and the desire to explore with the children.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

Two years of experience caring for children under six years or
One year of experience caring for children under six years of age and six hours of training or
Education in Early Childhood Development
