Parent Referral Specialist Full Time Immediate Hire

Salary: $32.000-36.000 (Commensurate with Experience); Full Benefits Package
Working under the direct supervision of the Coordinator of Parent and Provider services:

Responsibilities:

~~Job Duties & Responsibilities Includes:
 Consultations via telephone and electronic means regarding child care options, quality indicators, regulatory requirements and the cost of child care
 Assisting parents in developing child care plans to meet family needs
 Data entry with 95% accuracy
 Maintaining electronic log of client interactions
 Attend community outreaches, agency fairs and meetings, including some weekends and/or evenings required
 Attending program related meetings and professional development opportunities as assigned

Qualifications:

~~Qualifications:
 Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Counseling Human Services or related fields
 Customer service or Counseling experience ( at least 2 years)
 Knowledge of NYC’s public and private Child Care system a plus
 Knowledge of child development and NYS/NYC child day care regulations a plus
 Familiarity with social media platforms
 Demonstrated experience in working with diverse audiences
 Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications: Words and Excel
 Excellent oral and written skills. Flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
