The ANDRUS Early Learning Center’s thoughtfully structured childcare program is committed to the education of the whole child in the social, intellectual, physical, and emotional domains. The expansion of the program in early 2012 has enabled us to double the enrollment of the Center and add special services to infants, along with the toddlers and preschoolers up to the age of five who already attend.
ANDRUS is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Infant Classroom. The Assistant Teacher works under the direction of the Head Teacher, assisting in the creation and provision of appropriate environment and experiences to foster the physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth of infants. The Assistant Infant Teacher should be upbeat, energetic, warm, friendly, nurturing and have experience with basic care needs for infants.
The qualified candidate will possess a CDA and some early childhood courses with a minimum of one (1) year working with infants; must have facility in written and spoken English.
