Description:

We are seeking highly motivated teachers to join our early childhood center. A true team player that will become an important member of our educational community. There is no greater reward than making a difference in the lives of young learners. We offer piano, art, chess, music, ballet and many enriching classes in addition to our enriched daily curriculum.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Plan and implement instructional activities including a variety of themes and subjects such as math, language, diversity awareness, gross and fine motor skill development, self help skill development, science, art, music, health and hygiene, social studies, and self esteem. Teachers must gather and prepare materials for lessons and activities. Communicate with parents, stay informed of policies, and serve as a role model for students and other teachers.

Qualifications:

Head teacher must be New York State certified, or on an approved study plan towards certification. A minimum of 90 credits towards a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood.
