  • Each college has a complete listing of all the scholarships and financial awards it offers.
  • Full-time and part-time students are eligible for financial assistance.

CUNY CAP - The City University Counseling Assistantship Program

Students with a bachelor's degree from a CUNY college, and who are enrolled or will be enrolled in a CUNY graduate program are eligible. Students work from 15-20 hours weekly during the fall and spring semesters, mostly during daytime hours at a CUNY college. Students are eligible for a tuition waiver of up to 6 graduate credits per semester.

CUSTA - City University Student Tuition Assistance

CUSTA is a New York State funded campus-based tuition assistance grant. CUSTA funds are limited and are awarded to students on a "first come, first served" basis.

ING Direct Kids Foundation Funds Scholarships For Children of 9/11 Families

The ING Direct Kids Foundation established a 9/11 Scholarship Fund to help CUNY part-time undergraduate students whose parent(s) died or were severely injured in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack. To apply forthis scholarship, you do not need to be a resident of New York or a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.

Peter F. Vallone Academic Scholarship Program

The Peter F. Vallone Academic Scholarship Program is available to full-time students who enroll in a CUNY college no later than 2 semesters after graduating from a New York City high school, public or private.

Search for Education, Elevation, and Knowledge (SEEK) and College Discovery are the 2 higher education opportunity programs at The City University of New York (CUNY).

  • SEEK is a program available at CUNY’s senior (4-year) colleges.
  • College Discovery is a program available at CUNY’s community (2-year) colleges.
