Assistant Teacher

Description:

• Perform duties as an assistant to the lead teacher.
• Maintains a nurturing and patient stature to facilitate a content, calm and positive atmosphere.

• Ensures that all state and local requirements are met for the supervision of the children.
• Performs other related duties and assignments determined on the basis of need.
• Attends scheduled staff meetings, community events, and other meetings identified.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of the classroom environment each day.
• Assist in preparation of curriculum materials.
• Helps to maintain general classroom control and reinforces classroom and school rules.
• Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:45pm
• Follows an academic school calendar

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
