EHS Preschool Lead Teacher

Responsibilities:

  • Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety
  • Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children
  • Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program
  • Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities
  • Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning
  • Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate

Qualifications:

  • NYS Teaching Certification B-2 or Equivalent
  • MA/BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) and currently pursuing Teacher certification - Study Plan Eligible –
